Lab: Gorman Lab
Description: The lab does circadian rhythm research in
rodents. The project you'd be helping with
examines alcohol drinking and circadian rhythms in mice. We have a great
lab and this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for
research experience.
Requirements: 3.0 GPA and preferably who have taken Psych
106 (Physiological Psychology) and/or Psychology 133 (Biological Rhythms).

Lab: The Attention and Perception Lab
Description: Various education related studies related
to social and cognitive psychology. Acquire research skills and useful background
if you plan on attending graduate school in experimental or clinical psychology.
Requirements:
- Interested in research
- GPA: at least 3.0
- Junior Status (preferred, but not mandatory)
- prefer someone with previous experience in a social psych lab
- Commitment 10-12hr/wk

Lab: Dr. Mark Appelbaum’s Lab
Description: Combine your interests in psychology, computers,
data, and analysis. Learn techniques for managing complex, longitudinal
data sets. Learn techniques for useful reporting of the results of complex
longitudinal studies. Learn a set of skills that will provide a strong foundation
for both graduate school and employment in research settings.
Requirements:
-Basic computer skills; some experience with application problems such as
Excel
-Completed Psych 60
